1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site. We operate on our own with no ties to any government office. We do not store official criminal records and we cannot pull records, run official background checks, or file documents for anyone.

Our role is limited to identifying the Scott County sheriff, local criminal courts, the Arkansas Department of Public Safety and Arkansas Crime Information Center, and the Arkansas Sex Offender Registry, along with optional third-party research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information found here or through a linked tool may not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate. Arkansas Sex Offender Registry information is provided for safety and community awareness. Misuse against a listed person may violate Arkansas law, and vigilante action is prohibited.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

Any consumer report required for a regulated purpose must come from a properly authorized, FCRA-compliant provider.

5. No Legal Advice

General Scott County record information is not legal advice. Ask a licensed Arkansas attorney how a warrant, charge, conviction, or record-sealing law applies to a specific situation.

6. No Warranties

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

• The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
• The site will stay up and running without interruptions
• Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
• Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Criminal records change all the time - charges are filed, dismissed, sealed, and expunged. We try to keep up, but gaps are unavoidable. Nothing on this site should be treated as an official statement from a court, sheriff, or government agency.

We link to sheriff's office sites, court portals, state agency pages, legal aid organizations, and outside search services across this site. Clicking one of those links moves you off our platform and onto one we have no control over. We are not responsible for their content, how they handle data, what they charge, or whether their site stays online. Check their terms before using them.

8. Intellectual Property

Scott County Criminal History or its content partners own the text, graphics, logos, and code presented here. Written permission is required to copy, distribute, modify, or build upon that material.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages that come from using this site - including decisions made based on information found here or through any linked service.

10. Indemnification
